agricultural heritage museum & hall of fame - This facility will honour the agricultural heritage and the contributions made by our pioneering farmers to the economic and cultural development of the Cayman Islands. The museum will offer the visitor a feel for the type of tools, clothes and household items that were used in daily life in years gone by. Displays and demonstrations will feature traditional artifacts used in pioneering agro-trades such as rope making, thatching, food preservation and preparation.

kids’ zone - Learning and having fun go hand-in-hand and the kids’ zone allows the younger visitors to the grounds a chance to do just that. Created exclusively for children, this unique learn-as-you-play area will include a child- sized farmhouse, petting zoo, playground with traditional games, and a maze. Let your inner child come out as you accompany them on their adventures.

agricultural grounds - Here visitors will be able to tour the fields and livestock areas and learn about past and present methods of farming. Designed to appeal to everyone from the casual observer to the serious student, the educational farm area will feature a variety of local farming activities including fruit tree orchards, crops, greenhouses, fish farming and livestock. From the traditional to the most modern agricultural technologies and production systems, the grounds will inform and educate, help local farmers improve their businesses, expose youth to new career opportunities, and raise public awareness of the contribution of the agricultural sector.

additional facilities - In keeping with its goal to preserve and promote the development of agriculture and crafts, the grounds will feature a number of purpose-built facilities. For example, the agro-processing facility will service farmers and enable visitors to see how traditional Caymanian jams, juices and sauces are produced for consumption (all of which will be available for purchase at The Market), while the education and training centre will house workshops and lectures to teach traditional crafts and trades.

parks and nature trails - A naturally wooded area lies on the south boundary of the grounds and, once developed, will offer the perfect family adventure to learn about the native flora and vegetation that currently resides in there.

cultural and special events - The grounds will play host to the annual agricultural show, equestrian events and a variety of outdoor cultural concerts, to name just a few. If you are interested in hosting a private event at the grounds, we’d be happy to assist you.

local attractions - The grounds is centrally located, making it easy for you to get here. After you have visited us, enjoy the many special attractions that the Eastern Districts have to offer.
